What the heck is a TAG?
TAG stands for "Tuesday Art Group"… On the first Tuesday of each month a Seattle based group of Illustrators, game artists, comic book artists and anyone else who seems to qualify, get together to sketch, talk shop, network, perhaps work on an practice assignment and maybe even eventually hire an occasional figure model to pose for us.

This is so wonderful... I like that this single image suggests a whole story. Who is Santa's adversary? why are they fighting? This looks like a pretty bitter snowball fight.
Have you read the Santa Letters by Tolkien? He's got some crazy stuff with a kooky polar bear and snow goblins. This looks like something that would have happened in one of those stories.

As to Santa's adversary, I'm thinking it's probably the snowman or the yeti. ;)
So epic. I love it.
Very cool. I always like the work done with Santa as a re-imagined figure. Such a rich history. Love the little goblin dudes!
