Nagel Series 33 free Photoshop brushes

Click in the headline to go to a website with the download and instructions for Nagel Series 33 brushes.  This is a batch of brushes that simulate graphite, charcoal, drybrush, marker and more.

As the name implies, there are many other series of brushes that you can get for free.  I haven't explored them all, but there may be some cool ones among them as well.

It was great seeing everyone again. Also a sincere welcome to the new folks who attended. There was an astonishing amount of talent there. I hope to see you all there next time.

Out sick

Well not sick, but working on adding color to a black and white adaptation of Poe's "Masque of The Red Death" I did last year. Graphic Classics is republishing the stories and wanted color added to them.

 This is my rough for the back cover and the first and last pages of the story. Trying to stay loose with the color to match the thematic mood of the line art.

Nearsighted Comics- Webcomics for you to look at!

Check out my new single panel webcomic, Nearsighted Comics! Click the headline to go to the strip! I'm posting new strips on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, so check back frequently. I have a decent backlog of strips that I haven't posted there (although I have used them elsewhere), so if I ever get behind and have a fallback plan.

So far I haven't run out of ideas... I feel like it's something I can keep going for a while. Go and visit! Long time no see!

Hey all! Didn't make it to TAG this month due to the sniffles, but I have been drawing. The top one is a watercolor painting I did, the bottom was done in Paint Tool SAI. I really need to start keeping my blog updated with all the sketches and whatnot that I do...I hope everyone is doing well, and I hope to see you all in April!
